Mother's Day Racing on the Creek

Mother's Day Sunday May 8th brought breezy conditions to Carter's Creek with NW winds averaging 10 knots and gusting up to 15.  Two teams competed in the Spring Women's Racing. Aboard Ty Affair was Caroline Wheal and Sabina German with coach Danielle Kuper and sailing Venturi was Finlay Smith and Kay Vose with coach Stephanie Chaufournier.

Venturi won the first race which was a triangle course once around.  Ty Affair won the second and and third races which were Windward-Leeward once and then twice around.  Congratulations to the Ty Affair team who won first place overall.
