Results from Sunday May 24th
The weather conditions turned out to be ideal enabling the fleet to run 3 races on Sunday.
In the first race, Ladybug, (CJ Carter and Kinnet Ehring with coach Ned Crockett) captured first place. Second place was awarded to Ty Affair due to a questionable maneuver at the starting line. Venturi (Sabina German and Stephanie Chaufournier with coach Mike Kennedy) on a port tack failed to give way to Ty Affair (Sophie German and coach Danielle Kuper) which was on a starboard tack. The reasoning provided by coach Kennedy was that the starboard boat failed to hold a straight course thus allowing the port boat to hold its course. The Race Committee ruled differently stating that the starboard boat always has the right of way.
Venturi won the second race followed by Ladybug and Ty Affair. Ladybug came back to win the 3rd race followed by Venturi. Ty Affair retired before the start so it took 3rd place.

Results from Sunday May 17th
The weather remained uncertain all the way through the first race. Storm clouds brewed on the horizon but fortunately hugged the middle neck and eventually sent a nice breeze our way. Given the light wind conditions the first race unfolded in slow motion but provided an excellent opportunity to study the wind and current patterns. Those who called the wind and current correctly got to the finish line first!
In the first race, Radio Flyer (CJ Carter and Jane Parker with coach Tom Watkins) came from behind to snatch first place followed by Venturi (Sabina German and Stephanie Chaufournier with coach Gary Hooper) and Ty Affair (Pat Julian and Danielle Kuper with coach Mike Kennedy).
Just as the winds picked up to a nice steady breeze, Radio Flyer withdrew due to other more exciting social commitments leaving the other two boats in a match race. Pat Julian and Sabina German were on the helm for the first time. Venturi came in first followed by Ty Affair.
